SAMPLE ITINERY
There is no set itinerary for this tour. Each trip will be planned around the weather conditions, tides and the groups desires. Below is a list of what we could offer and where we could go. Please note that we will always visit Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Lookout, multiple snorkelling locations, bush-walk and of course do some sailing!
Lots of sailing and possible match-racing between the Prosail maxi yachts.
Up to 4 snorkel sites – we choose the best site and timings based on the weather and tides.
Explore both the North and possibly the South end of Whitehaven Beach, visiting two different lookouts (Hill Inlet Lookout & South Whitehaven Lookout)
Up to 2 bush-walks ranging from 20 minutes to 3 hours
Sunset beach hangs on some of our favourite beaches
In the evenings, chill on deck with our crew and your new mates, have a few drinks, stargaze and then let the calm water gently rock you to sleep.

when and where to meet?
This tour operates out of CORAL SEA MARINA in AIRLIE BEACH, QLD.
- Meeting point for departure is at Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach (southern end)
- Please meet at 9:30am (30 minutes before your departure time of 10am) @ Coral Sea Marina, Southern End, MEETING POINT C, under the white umbrellas next to Whitsunday JetSki Tours.
You will receive a confirmation email upon purchasing this tour which will provide you with all of the relevant information, e.g. CONTACT NUMBERS, Â ADDRESS ETC.
what to bring?
What to Bring:
- Small lightweight bags – no suitcases please. You can store luggage at most accommodation locations in Airlie Beach.
- Enough clothes for the duration of your charter, comfortable footwear for bush-walks, swimwear, towel(s), hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, drink bottle (we have a filtered water tap on each boat), something warm (for the winter months) and a light jacket can come in handy (even in the summer months)
- Bring Your Own (BYO) alcohol – no glass or red wine please! We have big eskies with ice to store your drinks in.
- Camera, GoPro, phone (mainly just for photos as you won’t get much reception out there). Â
- Your sense of adventure!Â
Medication: (If you require to take medication throughout the duration of this tour, please remember to bring this with you. If you deem it necessary, please inform a member of staff, on board your vessel, where within your belongings this can be found).
Seasickness Medication – You may experience seasickness out on the open ocean. We suggest that you should speak with your pharmacist in advance of your trip, to seek their advice on seasickness medication. We will not reschedule bookings or issue refunds for those suffering from seasickness.
The vessel
CONDOR is a 24metre maxi sailing yacht built in 1987 and refitted in 2022. Capable of carry a maximum of 30 passengers and 3 crew on epic over night sailing adventures.

pre requisites?
Please be aware that the crew reserves the right to prohibit anyone from anyone joining this tour if they deem it unsafe.
This tour is perfect for adventurous singles, couples and groups normally aged between 18-39. We have no age limit, however you must be ‘young at heart’, fit and able to move about a boat unassisted and understand the adventurous and social nature of our tours. Some under 18’s may be accepted on board by request.
cancellations?
Cancellations/changes to your booking must be made by contacting the tour provider on your booking confirmation email or by contacting Salty Swims at info@saltyswims.com.au
Please be aware that refund policies do not cover travel, accommodation or any other associated costs. We recommend you take out travel insurance to cover unforeseeable cancellations.
What if the tour provider cancels?
In the event of poor sea conditions, minimum numbers not being reached or for any other reason, the tour operator reserves the right to cancel the tour. If your trip cannot be rescheduled to your satisfaction, you will receive a full refund.
What if you cancel?
Refunds will be processed according to the following time frames…
- Cancellations within 7 Days of the start date incur a 100.00% fee.
