The Daintree Rainforest is a UNESCO World Heritage Listed site, dating back over 135 million years and boasts one of the most diverse eco-systems on the Earth… Your introduction to this very special place starts at the Daintree Discovery Centre. The interpretive centre offers an interactive experience with touch screens and interactive displays, self-guided audio walk-tours are played in 8 different languages, there’s a 23-metre high canopy tower, and you’ll receive a 68-page interpretive guide book to take home.

Please be aware that the crew reserves the right to prohibit anyone from participating in the activity if they deem it unsafe. If any of the below is not found out until on the day, you may not be permitted to join the tour and you may not receive a refund.

• Passengers must have a reasonable level of manoeuvrability. If you are unable to walk on-board or are wheelchair bound, unfortunately, you are not able to join this tour.
• If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, are taking prescription medication or you are suffering from any injury or illness, then it is important that the tour provider is made aware in-advance. If they deem it too dangerous or unsafe, they reserve the right to prohibit you from joining the tour.

This tour operates out of the Daintree Ferry Gateway, Lower Daintree, QLD.

Please check in at the GIANT croc head kiosk located at: Cape Tribulation Road (300-meter before the Ferry Terminal), Lower Daintree, QLD, 4873.

Entrance to the Daintree Discovery Centre, located half way between the Daintree Ferry and Cape Tribulation, is included in this pass. Located on the corner of Cape Tribulation Rd & Tulip Oak Road,
Cow Bay, Queensland, 4873.

Customers are NOT contacted UNLESS the trip is cancelled. If you don’t hear from anyone, please meet at the time and location stated in your booking details.

You will receive a confirmation email upon purchasing this tour which will provide you with all of the relevant information, e.g. CONTACT NUMBERS,  ADDRESS ETC.

Polarised sunglasses are recommended for best viewing through the surface of the water.

Medication: (If you require to take medication throughout the duration of this tour, please remember to bring this with you. If you deem it necessary, please inform a member of staff, on board your vessel, where within your belongings this can be found).

Seasickness Medication – You may experience seasickness out on the open ocean. We suggest that you should speak with your pharmacist in advance of your trip, to seek their advice on seasickness medication. We will not reschedule bookings or issue refunds for those suffering from seasickness.

“Crocodile Express” is a specialised river cruiser, purpose-built to enable visitors to safely get up close and personal with all the locals. There is ample shade and seating.

Please be aware that refund policies do not cover travel, accommodation or any other associated costs. We recommend you take out travel insurance to cover unforeseeable cancellations.

What if the tour provider cancels?
In the event of poor conditions, minimum numbers not being reached or for any other reason, the tour operator reserves the right to cancel the tour. If your trip cannot be rescheduled to your satisfaction, you will receive a full refund.

What if you cancel?
If you wish to cancel your booking within 14 days of purchase, you will receive a full refund.

After 14 days of purchase, will not receive a refund.
