Please be aware that the crew reserves the right to prohibit anyone from participating if they deem it unsafe.

Please be aware that if you are not eligible as per the statements below, and this isn’t found until on the day of your tour, you will not be permitted to join the tour and no refund will be issued.

• Please be aware that this activity requires a good level of physical fitness, and participants are required to know how to swim.
• Children under the age of 15 year must be accompanied by a parent at all times.
• If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, are taking prescription medication or you are suffering from any injury or illness, then it is important that the tour operator is made aware in-advance. 
• If you are pregnant, you are able to join this tour, but at your own discretion. After 15 weeks pregnant it isn’ advised.

This tour operates out of Palm Cove, QLD.

Please meet 15 minutes prior to your tour departure, at address: 73a Williams Esplanade (opposite Pete’s Place), Palm Cove, QLD, 4879.

Customers are NOT contacted UNLESS the trip is cancelled. If you don’t hear from anyone, please meet at the time and location stated in your booking details.

You will receive a confirmation email upon purchasing this tour which will provide you with all of the relevant information, e.g. CONTACT NUMBERS,  ADDRESS ETC.

Sunscreen & appropriate clothing (wide brim hat & a long-sleeve top, or warm/windproof clothing), shoes are not essential (and will get wet), and polarized sunglasses are recommended for best viewing through the surface of the water.

Why not bring snorkelling equipment and snorkel the fringing reef while you’re there!?

You will be kayaking on the ocean, heavy clothing is not suggested to be worn. Swim wear is recommended (to be worn ahead of time), and a spare pair of clothing for afterwards.

Medication: (If you require to take medication throughout the duration of this tour, please remember to bring this with you. If you deem it necessary, please inform a member of staff, on board your vessel, where within your belongings this can be found).

Seasickness Medication – You may experience seasickness out on the open ocean. We suggest that you should speak with your pharmacist in advance of your trip, to seek their advice on seasickness medication. We will not reschedule bookings or issue refunds for those suffering from seasickness.

Cancellations/changes to your booking must be made in writing directly to Salty Swims – Please contact Salty Swims  via email (info@saltyswims.com.au), or Facebook (via the chat icon linked to this page).

Please be aware that refund policies do not cover travel, accommodation or any other associated costs. We recommend you take out travel insurance to cover unforeseeable cancellations.

What if the tour provider cancels?
In the event of poor sea conditions, minimum numbers not being reached or for any other reason, the tour operator reserves the right to cancel the tour. If your trip cannot be rescheduled to your satisfaction, you will receive a full refund.

What if you cancel?

If you wish to cancel more than 48 hours ahead of departure, you will be charge 15% of the tour price.

If you wish to cancel less than 48 hours of departure, you will not receive a 50% refund.
