If you don’t see whales, then you are welcome to join along on the next available tour or your money back.

Please be aware that the crew reserves the right to prohibit anyone from participating if they deem it unsafe. If any of the below is not found out until on the day, you may not be permitted to join the tour and you may not receive a refund.

• Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a parent at all times.
• If you’re pregnant, you’re welcome to join this tour.
• If you are unable to walk on-board or you’re wheelchair bound, you’re welcome to join this tour but you need to have some limited mobility (to stand-up briefly) is requested to make the transition from tender to mother-ship easier.

This tour operates out of the Broome, QLD.

A transfer service is included in the price. Please select your chosen pick-up location from the options on the payment screen. Please ensure that you arrive at your pick-up location promptly – If you are late, and subsequently miss your trip, refunds will not be issued.

If you would rather meet the team there, head to Gantheaume Point Beach, 15 minutes before your departure time.

Customers are contacted the day before, or on the morning before their trip, to confirm their pick-up times or meeting point and check any specific requirements that they may have. You will receive a confirmation email upon purchasing this tour which will provide you with all of the relevant information, e.g. CONTACT NUMBERS,  ADDRESS ETC.

Warm clothing/ windproof jacket, sensible non-slip shoes (Please NO black-soled shoes). Polarised sunglasses are recommended for best viewing through the surface of the water.

Medication: (If you require to take medication throughout the duration of this tour, please remember to bring this with you. If you deem it necessary, please inform a member of staff, on board your vessel, where within your belongings this can be found).

Seasickness Medication – You may experience seasickness out on the open ocean. We suggest that you should speak with your pharmacist in advance of your trip, to seek their advice on seasickness medication. We will not reschedule bookings or issue refunds for those suffering from seasickness.

‘Contessa C’ is a 20-meter monohull cruiser, constructed in 2005 and remodified in 2012 for charter. The design boasts a very stable platform while at rest on the ocean, and a dry ride while underway.  

There are 3 viewing platforms on board and a massive 60 sqrm main deck, ¾ shaded, with 2 large daybeds for seating and lounging. There are tea and coffee facilities onboard, dry storage and full-sized toilet/ shower room. 

There are alcoholic drinks available for purchase on board – CASH or EFTPOS.

Please be aware that refund policies do not cover travel, accommodation or any other associated costs. We recommend you take out travel insurance to cover unforeseeable cancellations.

What if the tour provider cancels?
In the event of poor sea conditions, minimum numbers not being reached or for any other reason, the tour operator reserves the right to cancel the tour. If your trip cannot be rescheduled to your satisfaction, you will receive a full refund.

What if you cancel?

If you wish to cancel your booking MORE THAN 72 hours ahead of your departure, you’ll receive a full refund.

If you wish to cancel/transfer your booking WITHIN 72-24 hours of your departure, you will be charged 60% of your tour price.

If you wish to cancel/transfer your booking LESS THAN 24 hours of your departure, you will not receive a refund.
