Minimum Age *This tour is recommended for children aged 8 years + due to the duration of the tour.

Please be aware that the crew reserves the right to prohibit anyone from participating if they deem it unsafe. If any of the below is not found out until on the day, you may not be permitted to join the tour and you may not receive a refund.

• Children under the age of 15 years must be accompanied by a parent at all times.

   

• If you are pregnant or you have booked on a very young infant, please use your own discretion as to whether conditions are suitable. You’re welcome to call for an update on sea conditions, and if you deem it unsafe you can reschedule or receive a full refund.

   

• If you are unable to walk on-board or you are wheelchair bound, unfortunately, you are not able to join this tour.

This tour operates out of the Urangan Marina, Hervey Bay, QLD.

Complimentary Transfers are included, please select your pick-up location on the following page. Rather meet the crew there? There is free parking at the Urangan Marina. Please check-in promptly 15 minutes prior to departure.

Customers are NOT contacted UNLESS the trip is cancelled, or the time and/or location of their transfer service is changed. Typically, the last call is made on the morning of your trip, so please stay by your phones to avoid heading down unnecessarily. If you don’t hear from anyone, please meet at the time and location stated in your booking details.

You will receive a confirmation email upon purchasing this tour which will provide you with all of the relevant information, e.g. CONTACT NUMBERS,  ADDRESS ETC.

Warm clothing/ windproof jacket, sensible non-slip shoes (Please NO black-soled shoes). Polarised sunglasses are recommended for best viewing through the surface of the water.

Medication: (If you require to take medication throughout the duration of this tour, please remember to bring this with you. If you deem it necessary, please inform a member of staff, on board your vessel, where within your belongings this can be found).

Seasickness Medication – You may experience seasickness out on the open ocean. We suggest that you should speak with your pharmacist in advance of your trip, to seek their advice on seasickness medication. We will not reschedule bookings or issue refunds for those suffering from seasickness.

“Blue Dolphin” is a 11.8 m Sailing Catamaran. With comfortable seating under cover, a taut net between the bows for lounging and cut-away seats at the tips of the bows, best for viewing dolphins as they surf at the front of the boat. There is also a spacious toilet below deck.

On-Board: Maximum of 24 passengers

Please be aware that refund policies do not cover travel, accommodation or any other associated costs. We recommend you take out travel insurance to cover unforeseeable cancellations.

What if the tour provider cancels?
In the event of poor sea conditions, minimum numbers not being reached or for any other reason, the tour operator reserves the right to cancel the tour. If your trip cannot be rescheduled to your satisfaction, you will receive a full refund.

What if you cancel?

If you wish to cancel your booking MORE THAN 48 hours ahead of your departure, you’ll receive a full refund.

If you wish to cancel/transfer your booking WITHIN 24-48 hours of your departure, you will be charged 50% of your tour price.

If you wish to cancel/transfer your booking LESS THAN 24 hours of your departure, you will not receive a refund.
