Senior Role includes:

• Hiring out watercrafts ( SUPs and Kayaks ) Water sports instructor includes performing briefings and ensuring safety
• Facilitate water sport activities/tours for School, Corporate, Tourism and community groups
• Exceptional Customer Service over the phone, by email and in person
• Supervise staff at the creek to ensure that correct safety and procedures are followed
Selection Criteria for both Junior and Senior roles
• Positive attitude and ability to communicate well with a range of people
• High personable and friendly
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• High fitness level with appreciation of the outdoors and its benefits for everyday health and wellbeing
- Working with Children Check (senior role)• Current Driver’s license / reliable local transport (senior role)• A Water sport qualification or Bronze Medallion• Current First-Aid and CPR certificate* Opportunity to be certified in First-Aid / CPR / Bronze if successful applicant

Deckhand and Marine Biologist
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong background in Marine Biology (studying or completed a Marine Biology or relevant degree) to join the Temptation team.
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a new crew member to join our team as an eco-tour guide, deckhand and bartender onboard Temptation. As part of this position you will also be trained in simple administration tasks such as taking bookings via phones and emails to provide greater flexibility within our team.
Applicants must be available from the 18th of September through to the end of April 2022 with the opportunity to return in future seasons.
Adelaide
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Informing and educating our passengers about Indo-pacific bottlenose dolphins, short-beaked common dolphins and wildlife seen on our tours
- Maintaining situational awareness and the ability to multitask
- Ability to concentrate for long periods and spot dolphin pods through binoculars
- Perform leadership skills organising swim groups in and out the water
- Take bookings via phone calls and emails
- 1-2+ years customer service experience
- Currently studying or completed Marine Biology or relevant degree
- Shipboard Safety Skill Set
- Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Previous boating experience (desired)
- Comfortable using DSLR and GoPro cameras
- Good computer and photo editing skills
- Administration skills
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Great organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
Sales and administration assistant
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Sales and Administration Assistant within our Team.
This is a casual position best suited to an individual with previous industry and customer service experience. Applicants will be required to work extended hours during the peak period as office hours will vary between peak (Dec-Feb) and non-peak seasons (Sep-Nov and Mar-Apr). There will be some flexibility with days/hours to be discussed with the applicant. As this position is based from a home office set up, it is important that the successful applicant works closely with our Sales & Marketing Manager.
