All participants are priced as adults. You must be 10 years + to join this tour. 

Children between the ages of 5-9 are welcome to join their sister vessel “Coastal Express” to go Turtle Watching around Mudjimba Island, but with less horse-power. CLICK HERE.

Please be aware that the crew reserves the right to prohibit anyone from participating in the activity if they deem it unsafe. If any of the below is not found out until on the day, you may not be permitted to join the tour and you may not receive a refund.

• MINIMUM AGE 10 YEARS +
• Passengers must have a reasonable level of manoeuvrability.
• If you are unable to walk on-board or are wheelchair bound, unfortunately, you are not able to join this tour.
• The tour is not recommended for people with back and/or spinal injuries.
• If you are pregnant, unfortunately, you are not able to join this tour.
• If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, are taking prescription medication or you are suffering from any injury or illness, then it is important that the tour provider is made aware in-advance. If they deem it too dangerous or unsafe, they reserve the right to prohibit you from joining the tour.You’ll be asked to fill out a participation waiver prior to departure, disclosing any of the above.

This tour operates out of the The Wharf, Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast, QLD.

Boarding begins 15 mins prior to departure, at address: The Wharf Mooloolaba, 123 Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba.

Their jetty is located behind the restaurants on the river (not in the marina). There is a directory located at the main entrance to The Wharf. Parking at the Wharf can be very congested, especially during school holidays and weekends, please allow plenty of time to find a space.

Customers are NOT contacted UNLESS the trip is cancelled. If you don’t hear from anyone, please meet at the time and location stated in your booking details.

You will receive a confirmation email upon purchasing this tour which will provide you with all of the relevant information, e.g. CONTACT NUMBERS,  ADDRESS ETC.

Warm clothing/ windproof jacket, sensible non-slip shoes (Please NO black-soled shoes). Polarised sunglasses are recommended for best viewing through the surface of the water.

A dry bag is recommended for valuables, or these can be left at their office before departure. 

Medication: (If you require to take medication throughout the duration of this tour, please remember to bring this with you. If you deem it necessary, please inform a member of staff, on board your vessel, where within your belongings this can be found).

Seasickness Medication – You may experience seasickness out on the open ocean. We suggest that you should speak with your pharmacist in advance of your trip, to seek their advice on seasickness medication. We will not reschedule bookings or issue refunds for those suffering from seasickness.

“Adventure Rafting” is a custom-built inflatable RIB powered by 350HP, originally designed for the Australian Border Force. The property is skippered from a centre console, providing a great vantage point from which to drive, and there is jockey seating for passengers, for safety. 

Operating on a small vessel, you’re placed closer to the water’s edge and closer to the action.

Cancellations/changes to your booking must be made in writing directly to Salty Swims – Please contact Salty Swims  via email (info@saltyswims.com.au), or Facebook (via the chat icon linked to this page).

Please be aware that refund policies do not cover travel, accommodation or any other associated costs. We recommend you take out travel insurance to cover unforeseeable cancellations.

What if the tour provider cancels?
In the event of poor sea conditions, minimum numbers not being reached or for any other reason, the tour operator reserves the right to cancel the tour. If your trip cannot be rescheduled to your satisfaction, you will receive a full refund.

What if you cancel?

If you wish to cancel your booking MORE THAN 48 hours of your departure, you will receive a full refund.

If you wish to cancel your booking WITHIN 48 hours of your departure, you will not receive a refund.
