You’ll cruise through the beautiful Port Lincoln Marine Park, which is teeming with marine life, before arriving at one of the four locations used to swim with Sea Lions: Hopkins, Langton, Grindal, or Blyth Island. Once in the water, the Sea Lions entice you to come and play. With somersaults and swirls, they glide effortlessly past. It’s an unforgettable experience that you’ll be sure to treasure for a lifetime.

Children under the age of 16 years must be confident and must be accompanied by an adult at all times whether in-water or onboard.

* Corrective Lens Masks may be available to hire (limited availability). Please let us or the tour operator know in advance of your trip. Â Alternatively, we recommend that you wear contact lenses or consider purchasing your own prescription mask.

Please be aware that the crew reserves the right to prohibit anyone from entering the water if they deem it unsafe. If any of the below is not found out until on the day, you may not be permitted to join the tour and you may not receive a refund.

Rather the meet the crew there? Meet 30 minutes prior to your departure time, at 3/10 South Quay Boulevard (blue fronted building).
This trip is subject to sea conditions. Please call the tour operator between 3:30pm – 5pm on the day before your trip to confirm.Â
You will receive a confirmation email upon purchasing this tour which will provide you with all of the relevant information, e.g. CONTACT NUMBERS, Â ADDRESS ETC.
Please wear your swimmers ahead of arrival. Towel, Water Bottle, Sunscreen (Reef safe, please), warm clothing/ windproof jacket, and polarised sunglasses are recommended for best viewing through the surface of the water.
Medication: (If you require to take medication throughout the duration of this tour, please remember to bring this with you. If you deem it necessary, please inform a member of staff, on board your vessel, where within your belongings this can be found).
Seasickness Medication – You may experience seasickness out on the open ocean. We suggest that you should speak with your pharmacist in advance of your trip, to seek their advice on seasickness medication. We will not reschedule bookings or issue refunds for those suffering from seasickness.
“MV Calypso Star” was launched in 2000 offering the best safety, comfort and performance. In July 2021, the vessel was fitted with a Seakeeper SK18 gyroscopic stabiliser (reducing roll by up to 80%, reducing seasickness). She’s powered by twin 625hp engines and boasts 2 hot showers, toilets, galley and licensed bar, lounge seating, a large main deck and a flybridge deck for an elevated view. The vessel is air conditioned with espresso coffee machine, and sound system. CARD TRANSACTIONS ONLY on board (Soft drinks, bottled water and alcohol, souvenirs and GoPro hire available for purchase).
On-Board: Minimum 6, maximum 25 passengers.
Distance to Dive Site: Approximately 30 miles from shore.

Please be aware that refund policies do not cover travel, accommodation or any other associated costs. We recommend you take out travel insurance to cover unforeseeable cancellations.
What if the tour provider cancels?
In the event of poor sea conditions, minimum numbers not being reached or for any other reason, the tour operator reserves the right to cancel the tour. If your trip cannot be rescheduled to your satisfaction, you will receive a full refund.
