* Corrective Lens Masks are available to hire (limited availability).  Please register your interest within the special requirements section on the following page. If you don’t see seals on your trip, you’re invited back to retry free of charge. This is not transferable and must be deemed within the same season. 

Please be aware that the crew reserves the right to prohibit anyone from entering the water if they deem it unsafe.

Please be aware that if you do not pass the following requirements and this isn’t found until on the day of your tour, you will not be permitted to join the tour and no refund will be issued.

• Swimmers of ALL AGES must be able to swim to a reasonable ability. You’ll be asked to rate your swimming ability (Can’t swim/ Poor/ Fair/ Good) on the following page.
  
• Swimmers must be physically able to exit the water via 3 runs of a ladder.
  
• Children under the age of 15 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times, on-board or in-water.
  
• Children under the age of 4 years are prohibited from entering the water.
  
• If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, are taking prescription medication or you are suffering from any injury or illness, then it is important that tour provider is made aware in-advance. If they deem it too dangerous or unsafe, they reserve the right to prohibit you entering the water or joining the tour. Please state within the ‘Special Requirements’ on the following page.
  
• If you are pregnant, unfortunately, you are unable to join this tour.
• If you are unable to walk on-board or are wheelchair bound, unfortunately, you are unable to join this tour.

This tour operates out of Queenscliff, VIC.

Please check-in with the team 15 minutes before your departure time, at address:  Shop 3, Building 6, Queenscliff Boat Harbour, Queenscliff, VIC, 3225.

You will receive a confirmation email upon purchasing this tour which will provide you with all of the relevant information, e.g. CONTACT NUMBERS,  ADDRESS ETC.

Swimwear (to be worn ahead of arrival), a towel, warm clothing/ windproof jacket, sensible non-slip shoes (Please NO black-soled shoes). Polarised sunglasses are recommended for best viewing through the surface of the water.

Medication: (If you require to take medication throughout the duration of this tour, please remember to bring this with you. If you deem it necessary, please inform a member of staff, on board your vessel, where within your belongings this can be found).

Seasickness Medication – You may experience seasickness out on the open ocean. We suggest that you should speak with your pharmacist in advance of your trip, to seek their advice on seasickness medication. We will not reschedule bookings or issue refunds for those suffering from seasickness.

Step on board “Maureen M”, an 36 foot timber vessel rich in character. Surveyed to carry up to 35 people and introducing swimmers to Burrunan Dolphins and Australian Fur Seals since 1995. The vessel boasts a large boom net which can carry up to 4 people, the roof is accessible, providing fantastic 360 degree views, a duck board at the rear of the vessel is equipped with a ladder making access to the water very easy, hot water for teas/coffees and a toilet onboard.

Hot showers and changing facilities available at the Harbour.

In-Water (Dolphins): Maximum of 10 swimmers.
In-Water (Seals): Maximum 30 Swimmers.  
On-Board: Maximum 25 swimmers and 10 spectators

Please be aware that refund policies do not cover travel, accommodation or any other associated costs. We recommend you take out travel insurance to cover unforeseeable cancellations.

What if the tour provider cancels?
In the event of poor sea conditions, minimum numbers not being reached or for any other reason, the tour operator reserves the right to cancel the tour. If your trip cannot be rescheduled to your satisfaction, you will receive a refund.

What if you cancel?
If you wish to cancel your booking more than 48 hours of your departure, you’ll receive a refund.

If you wish to cancel your booking within 48 hours of your departure, you will not receive a refund.

Group Bookings
If you wish to cancel your booking more than 5 days of your departure, you’ll receive a full refund.

If you wish to cancel your booking between 5 days – 48 hours of your departure, you’ll be receive 50% of your booking.

If you wish to cancel your booking within 48 hours of your departure, you will not receive a refund.
